CHALLENGE

The challenge given to us is to design, build, and program a robot that is able to travel around an eight foot by eight foot arena, rescue a baby, and find and extinguish a fire. What is involved in this is a self navigating robot, a flame detector, an electronically triggered CO2 canister to extinguish a flame, and a line-scan camera to find the baby's cradle.
